France Oct. 1870

This is my first ever historical figure vignette.

I tried then to copy Bill Horan's "The Death of McPherson" but not surprisingly fell far short of the mark. I used some 1/35 (50mm) figures from ICM plus what I could find.

The scene portrays a Bavarian General who has just died in the arms of his ADC, after being attacked by some Franc-Tireurs.

What I have learnt from this, is not to look at Vignette's in the same light as WWII Dio's, use larger (54mm) figures and to be more patient with these bright 'new' colours.
