The Polish Lancer, who has survived the battle, is enjoying a last picknic and swim with his girlfriend. "Two's company - Three's a crowd". The uninvited guest being a Scottish Infantryman from the Black Watch Regiment, coincidence maybe that something black has just been watching him!!
